NEW YORK, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- The producers of some Off-Broadway shows are hoping people will check out their offerings now that a strike has closed down most Broadway productions.

NEW YORK, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- An Edinburgh Fringe Festival award winning one-man show, "Thom Pain (Based on Nothing)," is heading for New York for performances beginning Jan. 25.

The Oscar show may be going on Sunday in Los Angeles, but Will Smith and Peter Jackson say they won't be there for it.
