Dan Werner is a Florida Gators basketball player who has been on both the 2006-07 national champion team and has been a starter from 2007 to 2009.

Dan Werner was born in Middletown Township, New Jersey, is 6-7, and weighs 235 lbs. He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in New Jersey in 2006.

Dan Werner has spawned a sizable fan group at the University of Florida that go by the name of the Werner Witnesses. They testify every home basketball game by wearing shirts bearing Werner's visage and the words "I am a witness!" The shirt also bears the sign 3>2 which is a reference to Werner's infamous shirt. . The shirt has been spotted all over the globe in places such as Barcelona and Paris as well as in other men's college basketball games such as the SEC Championship Game in Tampa, Florida and Duke Men's Basketball games in Durham, North Carolina.
