Damion Marquez Williams James (born October 7, 1987 in Hobbs, New Mexico) is a forward for the Texas Longhorns men's college basketball team.

As a senior at Nacogdoches High School James averaged 23.5 points, 15.2 rebounds, 5.2 blocks, 4.3 assists, and 2.5 steals per game.

At 6-foot-7, 230-pounds he was considered one of the top prospects in the country coming out of high school. He had initially signed to play college basketball at the University of Oklahoma for head coach Kelvin Sampson. When Sampson took the head coaching position at the Indiana University the administration at OU released James from his letter of intent and he switched his decision to Texas.
