LONDON, June 25 (UPI) -- "Le Bassin Aux Nympheas," a 1919 water landscape painted by Claude Monet, reportedly sold for $80.5 million at a London auction.

LONDON, June 24 (UPI) -- A water lily painting by Claude Monet, one of the last in private hands, sold for more than $80.5 million Tuesday in London, doubling the record for the artist.

LONDON, June 21 (UPI) -- A painting by French impressionist Claude Monet may sell at auction in Europe for nearly $48 million, art experts say.

NEW YORK, May 7 (UPI) -- An 1873 riverbank landscape by French Impressionist painter Claude Monet has been sold for $41.4 million in New York, auctioneers said.

GENEVA, Switzerland, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Two of four Impressionist masterpieces stolen from a museum in an audacious heist in Zurich, Switzerland, have been found in good condition in an unlocked car.

ZURICH, Switzerland, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Works by Paul Cezanne, Edgar Degas, Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh, valued at $91 million, were stolen from a Swiss gallery, police said.
