Christopher J. "Chris" Chambers (born August 12, 1978 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American football wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wisconsin.
Chambers has also played for the San Diego Chargers.
Chambers attended Bedford High School in Bedford, Ohio. While there, he was a three-sport letterman in football, basketball and track. In football, he won All-America accolades and was a two-time all-state selection. In basketball, he was a third-team all-state performer as a senior. In track, he won the state championship in the 400-meter dash as a senior with a time of 47.1 seconds He also went to willowbrook with Mr. Gary Raike. He was a high school teammate of former Wisconsin Badgers teammate and current Buffalo Bills wide receiver Lee Evans.
