Foreclosure activity rose in nearly 60 percent of the U.S. metropolitan areas in the first half of the year, a private online marketplace said.
More than 1 million U.S. homes had foreclosure filings in the first half of 2012, up 2 percent from the previous six months, RealtyTrac said Wednesday.
The decline in U.S. foreclosures looks like a "bumpy ride," the top executive at online marketplace RealtyTrac said.
