ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Jan. 29 (UPI) -- The U.S. cable television movie network Starz said it is planning to air its first original drama series -- a show based on the Oscar-winning film "Crash."

Bob Yari (born 30 May 1961 in Iran) is an Iranian-American film producer.

He grew up in New York City, and studied cinematography at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Yari's film Crash won the Best Picture at the 78th Academy Awards.
