Bartolo Colón (born May 24, 1973) is a Dominican Major League Baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees. He won the American League Cy Young Award with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2005.

Colón grew up in a home without electricity, running water or indoor plumbing in the town of Altamira in the Dominican Republic. He does major charity work for his old community.

A prospect from the Dominican Republic, Colón was signed by the Cleveland Indians as a free agent in 1993.
