CNPC in Iraq looking for old oil deal

BAGHDAD, March 9 (UPI) -- Officials from the China National Petroleum Corp. are in Iraq trying to re-sign a major oil deal first signed with Saddam Hussein.

BAGHDAD, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Iraq's Oil Ministry said 138 people were killed in 186 attacks on its oil industry in 2005, costing the government $6.25 billion.
