SDP2003070801- SAN DIEGO, July 8 (UPI) - US Attorney General John Ashcroft along with Rafael Macedo De la Concha, the Attorney General of Mexico announced July 8 2003 at a news conference in San Diego, California, the indictment of 12 individuals who represent the hierarchy of the Arellano-Felix drug cartel. The Arellano-Felix organization is the most notorious multi-national drug trafficking organization ever and is responsible for multiple murders and the transportation of cocaine and marijuana from Tijuana, Mexico to the US through the San Diego and Mexicali borders. ec/EARL S.
