U.S. rolls back terror attacks in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Sept. 5 (UPI) -- The U.S. Armed Forces and their Iraqi allies have succeeded in severely limiting the ability of al-Qaida and other insurgent forces in Baghdad to carry out large-scale vehicle-borne improvised explosive device terror attacks on Iraqi civilians and other targets, U.S. officers in the city have told United Press International.
