Alexander Cintrón (born December 17, 1978 in Humacao, Puerto Rico) is a Major League Baseball infielder with the Washington Nationals organization. He is a switch-hitter and throws right-handed.

Drafted in the 37th round of the 1997 Major League Baseball Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks, Cintrón made his major league debut with the D-Backs on July 24, 2001. Cintrón won a World Series ring that year, getting 2 postseason at-bats. On March 8, 2006, Cintrón was traded to the Chicago White Sox for Jeff Bajenaru.

The White Sox waived Cintrón on November 29, 2007, and he signed a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training with the Chicago Cubs on February 18, 2008. He was released on March 26 and was signed to another minor league contract by the Baltimore Orioles. After starting the season with the Norfolk Tides, his contract was purchased by the Orioles, and he was added to the active roster on May 11.
