Noted lyrcist celebrate revival of their 1st hit broadway show
NYP97081101- 11 AUGUST 97- NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA: Noted lyrcists Betty Comden and Adolph Green do a small jig in New York City Central Park, at August 11th rehearsals, for Shakespeare in Central Park revival of their 1st Broadway hit musical "On the Town" written in 1944 with the then almost unknown composer Leonard Bernstein. Both Lyrcist, who are 82 years old , are known for their film and theatre works for such productions as "Peter Pan" "Singing in the Rain" "The Band Wagon" and "Bells are Ringing".
