Whirlpool is a manufacturer and marketer of a line of appliances and related products, primarily for home use. Co.'s principal products include laundry appliances, refrigerators and freezers, cooking appliances, dishwashers, room air-conditioning equipment, and mixers and other small household appliances. Co. also produces hermetic compressors for refrigeration systems. Co. markets and distributes its major home appliances under several brand names, including Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Roper, Estate, Inglis, Admiral, Speed Queen, Acros, Supermatic, Bauknecht, Laden, and Polar. Co. is also a supplier to Sears, including some the products that Sears markets under Kenmore brand name.
