Denbury Resources is engaged in the acquisition, development, operation and exploration of oil and natural gas properties in the Gulf Coast region of the U.S., primarily in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas. Co.'s operations include the traditional acquire, drill and exploit type of exploration operations as well as carbon dioxide (CO2) injection tertiary exploitation operations. As of Dec 31 2006, Co. had proved reserves of 126.2 million barrels of oil and 288.8 million cubic feet of natural gas, or the equivalent of 174.3 million barrels of oil. As of Dec 31 2006, Co. operated 630.1 net producing oil wells and 325.2 net producing natural gas wells.
