EchoStar Communications, through its DISH Network, is a provider of satellite delivered digital television to customers across the U.S. Co.'s DISH Network services includes a range of video, audio and data channels, interactive television channels, digital video recording, high definition television, international programming, installation, as well as customer service. As of Dec 31 2006, Co.'s DISH Network had approximately 13.1 million subscribers. In addition, at Dec 31 2006, Co. owned or leased 14 in-orbit satellites that enable it to provide over 2,500 video and audio channels to consumers across the U.S.
