DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR., IS JOINED BY REMAINS OF WIFE, CORETTA SCOTT KING, IN UPDATED MAUSOLEUM AT KING CENTER

The remains of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Coretta Scott King, are interred together in an updated mausoleum unveiled at the King Center in Atlanta on November 20, 2006. Her casket was moved from a near-by temporary location on November 17, 2006, to the newly-constructed mausoleum 10 months after her death. Dr. King was assassinated in 1968.
