A van driven by U.S. Federal marshalls drives away from Seattle's Federal Courthouse December 22, headed to the SeaTac Detention Center with Ahmed Ressam inside after he pleaded not guilty to all five account handed down by a federal grand jury. Ressam, 32, is accused of making false statements, smuggling and transportating of explosives, possession of an unregistered firearm and carrying an explosive device. If convicted on all charges, Ressam could be sentenced to 40 years in prison. His trial date is set for 22 February 2000. jb/Jim Bryant UPI
