Rapper Busta Rhymes survives drive by shooting on Grammy Awards night

NYP2003022401 - NEW YORK, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Rapper Busta Rhymes thumbs up meant much more than the media knew when the nominated singer arrived at the 2003 Grammy Awards on Feb. 23, 2003. Earlier the rapper survived a drive by shooting in lower Manhattan outside of Violator Records company where his custom made SUV was riddled by bullets.
