NYP96012802-28JAN96-BROOKLYN, NEW YORK, USA: Kings County District Attorney Charles Hynes announces at a press confernce, January 28, the arrest of 26 people in raids on illegal Wire rooms and Betting locations in Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.The raids shut 14 illegal wagering sites and netted in betting slips valued in excess of $ 250,000 and about $ 25,000 in cash and equipment.
