SAN DIEGO ZOO IN THE PINK

The San Diego Zoo is celebrating the birth of several newborn Caribbean flamingos -- marking the first hatching in several years as a baby is fed June 28, 2004 in San Diego, CA. The Zoo's flamingo lagoon recently underwent a major improvement renovation thanks to a generous donation from Audrey Geisel and the Dr. Seuss Foundation.
