Philadelphia Mayor Edward Rendell displays a mockup model of a "smart" gun

The weapon contains a computer chip in the handle (just above his hand) which can contain up to 10 different sets of finger prints.If the person holding the gun does not have a finger print encoded into the gun, they can not fire it.
