American Airlines to make major cuts to St. Louis hub

SLP2003071603- ST. LOUIS, July 16 (UPI) -- An American Airlines jet takes off as another one taxis at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport in St. Louis on July 16, 2003. American Airlines has announced Wednesday it will scale back service out of Lambert, resulting in hundreds of local jobs being cut.
