TORONTO, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Toronto mayor Rob Ford was celebrating Canada's victory in men's hockey Sunday when he ran into a fire hydrant and took a painful hit to the groin.
All the bars in Toronto were open at 7 a.m. Sunday ready to serve Canadians wanting to watch Canada beat Sweden in men's hockey 3-0. Ford joined the crowds at Real Sports in Toronto and took to the streets with them when they won. While the jubilant crowd was reportedly shouting, "Robbie! Robbie!", the bumbling mayor ran into a fire hydrant that seemed to have hit him in all the wrong places, leaving him with a very painful grimace on his face.
The U.S. might have to keep Bieber, but Canada will always have Ford.
