Jennifer Aniston in talks to star in 'Mean Moms'

Jennifer Aniston may sign on to star in "Mean Moms," an adaptation of a book by the same author who inspired "Mean Girls."

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Move over, Mean Girls. It's the moms who who will stab you in the back.

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly in talks to star in the adaptation of Queen Bee Moms and King Pin Dads, by Rosalind Wiseman, who also wrote Queen Bees and Wannabees the book that inspired the 2004, Lindsay Lohan-led film.

Like Mean Girls, Mean Moms would focus on an outsider newcomer who must deal with the cutthroat parents in her new high-income suburb. While New Line has yet to officially green-light the Beth McCarthy-Miller project, if Aniston signs on, it is expected to move forward quickly.
