NEW YORK, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Leonardo DiCaprio said he's "incredibly proud" of "Titanic," the 1997 film co-starring Kate Winslet that helped launch his career.

In an appearance on CBS' "This Morning," DiCaprio spoke about his latest Oscar-nominated film "The Wolf of Wall Street," but also his breakthrough role.

“You know, it’s been such a long time, but it was such a huge part of my life,” he said. “And people maybe think I have a reaction to that, to that film, but the truth is, I’m incredibly proud of it. And not only that, the movie has really made me be in control of my career.”

And though he may feel fond of the period drama, DiCaprio's not above making fun of the iconic "I'm flying!" scene with Winslet at the front of the boat. In fellow "Wolf of Wall Street" co-star Jonah Hill's opening monologue for "Saturday Night Live," the two recreated the scene, complete with the loving embrace.
