ASPEN, Colo., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Rihanna celebrated her birthday on Thursday at a cabin in Aspen, Colorado.

The birthday girl enjoyed champagne, cookies and cake, and uploaded photos of the occasion to her Instagram as the night progressed.

Later on, the singer managed to stay warm in a white bikini with hot chocolate and a hot tub, while surrounded by mountains and snow.

2014 is shaping up to be a big year for Rihanna -- the singer announced in January that she has begun work on her eighth studio album.
