OREM, Utah, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- A Utah mom was so incensed with a display of "inappropriate" t-shirts in the window of a PacSun, she bought every last one.

Judy Cox was shopping with her son Saturday at the University Mall in Orem when she passed the display of tees in the PacSun's store window and was stunned to see four shirts each printed with a nearly naked woman.

"We were on our way to another store we passed the PacSun store and I stopped dead in my tracks," she said. "The bottom of one woman is completely exposed, uncovered and it's a very provocative pose that she's in. Clearly it was offensive and I was most concerned about the youth and the children that would be viewing this."

Cox went in to speak with the store manager, who said that she was unable to take down the display. The most she could do, the manager told Cox, was email her corporate managers.

Cox went on with her shopping, but the display continued to bother her.

"As I was leaving the mall I had this thought coming to me that I can't leave it, I can't let it stay in the window for 3 or 4 days while someone makes a decision," she said.

So she bought every "explicit" shirt in the store, dropping about $600, although she plans to return them for a full refund before the 60-day return period is up.

Cox also said she plans to speak with a city attorney to find out if she can get a wider ban implemented.

"I hope it sends a really strong message to PacSun that at least in this community this is not a standard for us this is not something we approve of," she said.
