LOS ANGELES, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- After a very public split from Khloe Kardashian, DUI arrest and constant scrutiny about his alleged drug use, Lamar Odom is finally getting out of dodge -- way out of dodge.
The former NBA player has signed a two-month contract with Spanish club Laboral Kutxa.
It's true. Just told @RealLamarOdom has a deal in principal with aforementioned Spanish club and intends to play rest of season in Espana— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) February 18, 2014
He played poorly after returning to the Clippers in 2012, averaging just 4.0 points and 1.7 assists per game.
The Basque team has already revealed Odom's No. 7 jersey on Twitter:told Us Weekly that, before he makes his playing debut, Odom could attend a game as a spectator as soon as Thursday.
