MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- The Google Doodle for Valentine's Day celebrates with animated candy hearts and six audio love stories taken from NPR's This American Life.

The Doodle has six candy hearts in place of the Google name, each with a title: Crush, Mr. Right, First Kiss, 4Ever Yours, Puppy Luv and Blind Date.

Click on each of them to play short audio love stories contributed by This American Life. Each heart animates, with illustrations to accompany each story.

Host Ira Glass opens "4Ever Yours" with a warning: "This one gets a little heavy." The stories are heart-warming and heart-breaking, and span across ages from first crush to old love, with all the thrills and doubts between.

When Glass visited Google a few months ago he decided to collaborate with the Doodle team for a Valentine's Day Doodle. Glass and his team shared archived and new audio stories with the Google team, who then proceeded to put together the animation.
