Shia LaBoeuf opens an #IAMSORRY art exhibition in Los Angeles

The actor's art exhibit follows his odd behavior in Berlin, where he wore a paper bag over his head to the premiere of "Nymphomaniac."

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Shia LaBoeuf insisted last month that his alleged acts of plagiarism and erratic behavior were part of a performance-art project about "celebrity/social media absurdity."

Now, just days after storming out of a Berlin press conference and wearing a paper bag on his head to Nymphomaniac premiere, LaBoeuf has opened a strange art exhibit at the Cohen Gallery in Los Angeles.

LaBoeuf collaborated with artists Luke Turner and Nastja Säde Rönkkö on the so-called "#IAMSORRY exhibition, open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

During those hours, LaBoeuf sits at a table wearing a tuxedo and paper bag over his head. Visitors to the exhibit have said that the paper bag is wet around the 27-year-old actor's eyes, as if he's been crying.
