NEW YORFeb. 10 (UPI) -- With Questlove and the Roots following Jimmy Fallon to the Tonight Show later this month, Seth Meyers was tasked with finding a new band to take their place.

It seems he's landed on a good one.

Meyers announced on Twitter Monday that his former Saturday Night Live colleague Fred Armisen will be taking over as band leader for Late Night.

Armisen "will curate and lead the band, and continue to run it even when he's off shooting Portlandia," Meyers revealed, and his news was confirmed by NBC.

Late Night with Seth Meyers premieres February 24.
