SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Olympic gold medalist Sage Kotsenburg's parents didn't want to be the last to find out if their son placed in Saturday's snowboarding slopestyle competition, so they stayed up late.
At 4 a.m. Saturday, the Kotsenburgs told USA Today there was no way they'd get back to sleep after their 20-year-old son beat the odds to win gold.
