MEMPHIS, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- If you want a neck tattoo, get a ticket to the Memphis Grizzlies home game on Feb. 21.

In honor of the success of D-League call-up James Johnson, the team will be giving away fake neck tattoos to the first 5,000 fans that arrive at their game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Each fan will receive a clear sticker with the word "Grizzlies" on it to be placed on their neck.

Johnson got a tattoo of the words "NAYMIN 3.9.13" on his neck last March in honor of his son. Naymin was born six weeks early and had to be placed in intensive care. He survived and will turn 11 months old on Saturday. "Life changed for me after that," Johnson told ESPN. "Life wasn't about only me anymore. After that day, the head on my shoulders was different from what it was before."

The veteran forward was signed out of the D-League on Dec. 16 and is averaging 8.2 points per game.

"The tattoo he got wasn't a symbol of toughness," said Grizzlies chief operating officer Jason Wexler. "It was a transformational moment in his life, and that resonates with our fans and fits in with everything we are."
