Brandi Glanville joined Twitter to obsess over ex's new relationship

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Brandi Glanville opened up about her unhealthy obsession with her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian's relationship with LeeAnn Rimes in the first chapter of her latest book, Drinking and Dating: P.S. Social Media Is Ruining Romance.

In the book -- a follow up to the 41-year-old's Drinking and Tweeting, which appeared in 2013 -- the Real Housewife of Beverly Hills star makes it clear that she joined the social media site Twitter to keep tabs on her ex's new relationship.

“When I first discovered the benefits of technology and social media,” she admits, “I used it to obsess about my husband, his future wife, and our children throughout the breakup and divorce.”

And while the divorce has been finalized and her ex has remarried, Glanville's wound is still open. In Drinking and Dating, the reality star calls Rimes insulting names and blames Cibrian for giving her HPV.

Drinking and Dating: P.S. Social Media Is Ruining Romance will be released on February 11.
