Jamie Carrillo, 28, secretly recorded herself calling Cardosa about the abuse she endured as an eight grader. In the nine-minute video, Carillo contacts Alhambra High School and asks to speak to Cardosa.
“I was only 12 years old when I met you. Do you realize that you brainwashed me and you manipulated me and that what you did was wrong?” Carrillo asks in the video.
“Yes. And I regret it. I just wanted to help you,” the woman, who says she is Cardosa, replies.
"You ruined my life. You ruined my childhood. Do you realize that?" Carrillo adds. "You sicken me. You sicken me. And every day when I think about what you did, you sicken me."
"I regret it every day," the woman says.
Cardosa, who was a vice principal at Alhambra High School, resigned shortly after the video was posted last month.
Another alleged victim, identified only as "Brianna," also came forward. Her lawyer said Cardosa abused Brianna in 2009 and 2010, when she was 14 years old. He said his client was "happy" about the charges.
Cardosa is in jail on $5 million bail with an arraignment expected Thursday.
"I want her to be in jail and pay for what she’s done,” Carrillo told KTLA. “She shouldn’t be around children. That’s what made me do this."
