Christie Brinkley shows off bikini body at 60

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Christie Brinkley posed in a fitted swimsuit for the cover of People magazine ahead of her 60th birthday on February 2.

While the former supermodel still has the toned figure to pull off a bikini, Brinkley told the magazine she wouldn't do it because of her kids.

"My kids would be so embarrassed!" she says. "In private I may wear a bikini, but at the public beach with my kids I would change bathing suits because they do not want to be hanging out with some old broad in a bikini."

In the latest issue of People, the supermodel dishes on her beauty secrets, from her daily diet to the tricks she uses to look so youthful. Not that she's afraid of getting older.

"I'm actually excited about turning 60," she said. "I feel on top of my game."
