Michelle Obama celebrated her 50th birthday Saturday dancing to catchy tunes by Queen Bey.
The First Lady of the United States celebrated the landmark anniversary of her birth at the White House's East Room alongside 500 guests including her husband President Barack Obama, Beyonce and Jay Z, Rev. Al Sharpton, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Donna Karan and John Legend.
"It was just an incredible party," a guest told People magazine, "chock-full of celebrities."
Party goers Sasha and Malia Obama reportedly watched "in awe" as Beyonce performed at the party. And the star herself shared a few photos from the bash featuring daughter Blue Ivy admiring The White House Christmas tree and walking with Bo, the first dog.
Other celebrity guests included Attorney General Eric Holder, restauranteur José Andrés, singers Paul McCartney, James Taylor, Janelle Monáe and Jennifer Hudson. As well as Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie,famed designer Michael Kors, NBA star Michael Jordan and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
Obama wore a long red jumpsuit for the celebration and reportedly never stopped laughing during the event.
"She was enthralled. You could tell she had a lot of fun," said the guest.
