Usually pot is supposed to give you the munchies, not become one.

Three Chipola College basketball players, including Florida State University recruit Cinmeon Bowers, were arrested on Thursday night after police smelled marijuana coming from their vehicle during a traffic stop.

After smelling the marijuana, officers from the Marianna Police Department discovered that Bowers, Jamaar McKay-Taylor and Torian Graham had eaten the weed to try and conceal it.

The players were charged with tampering with evidence and taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility. According to Chipola’s athletic director, all three players have been suspended indefinitely.

Bowers committed to play for FSU last September. He is averaging 14.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.

Florida State coach Leonard Hamilton is waiting for the legal process to run its course. "I will wait until I get all the complete information," Hamilton said.

Graham has already made recruiting visits to Missouri and UNLV. He is averaging 15.7 points per game.
