Joe Jonas is a certified Uber driver

Almost three months after the Jonas Brothers announced their breakup, Joe Jonas has finally found a new gig.

The former boy bander is now a certified Uber driver who spends his days driving people around Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old singer posed for a picture with a couple of lucky Uber users who got him to take them to Pinkberry in his car. Twitter user @lindseyfarwell shared a picture of the moment on the social media site.

An Uber rep confirmed to E! News that the middle Jonas brother was in fact a certified driver for the company.

"Joe is officially a driver on the uberX platform, which is our low-cost, eco-friendly vehicle type," said the Uber rep. "He went through all the onboarding, and went through the system to be verified as a driver on the platform. He's gotten high ratings. He's a great driver."

However, another source claims that the gig is just part of a new project for Jonas and that all questions will be answered in about a month a half.

"It's for a viral video, kind of a sketch video, where he goes around and does little things," the source said. "It will all become clear in about six weeks."

According to TMZ, the mystery company could be MINI Cooper, though some think MySpace may have something to do with it after staffers went for a ride with Jonas.

The Jonas brothers announced they were quitting the band "for now" in October 2013, just three weeks after canceling their world tour over a "deep rift within the band."
