Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Miley Cyrus, who? Forbes has released its annual list of influential celebrities, but one of 2013's most talked-about figures is nowhere on the list. Instead, the top 10 are a mix of media moguls, broadcast personalities and famed directors.

Oprah Winfrey, who topped last year's list, slipped down to the second spot this year.

In her place is legendary director Steven Spielberg, whose "amazing storytelling abilities" lifted him to a score of 47 in Forbes' online market research. That means that 47 percent of Americans think he's influential.

The magazine believes Winfrey's influence might have lessened when she quit her talk show to head up the OWN network.

Elsewhere on the list is Star Wars creator George Lucas, child star-turned-filmmaker Ron Howard and Wolf of Wall Street director Martin Scorsese. There's also Barbara Walters, Bono and Dr. Mehmet Oz.
