Jan. 15 (UPI) -- In a blast from the past, Major League Baseball announced on Tuesday night that Namco’s R.B.I. Baseball will be back on consoles and mobile devices this spring.

Thanks to MLB Advanced Media, the Nintendo classic will be rebooted after almost two decades on the sidelines. The details about R.B.I. Baseball 14 are scarce, but people are clearly excited about the return of the game.

The original R.B.I. Baseball was the first baseball game to feature real MLB players after it received official licensing rights.
