Jan. 12 (UPI) -- San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick talked a little smack with his touchdown celebration during the third quarter against the Carolina Panthers by mimicking Cam Newton's Superman move.

Kaepernick ran in a touchdown to put the 49ers up 20-10 in Sunday's game and used the opportunity to mock Newton's trademark move, in which he pretends to rip open his jersey to expose a superhero outfit a la Superman.

To rub things in a little, Kaepernick added his own trademark bicep kiss, Sports Illustrated reported.

Kaepernick's teammate lineman NaVorro Bowman got in on the action a few minutes later when he sacked Newton.

The 49ers beat the Panthers 23-10.
