Duck Commander -- the company owned by the Duck Dynasty clan -- and gunmaker Mossberg have teamed up to release a gun line featuring nine different shotguns, two semiautomatic rifles and a semiautomatic pistol.

According to a Mossberg spokeswoman, the company has begun shipping a few of the shotguns to distributors, though she declined to name specific retailers.

Duck Commander was founded 40 years ago by Phil Robertson, the family patriarch who recently came under fire for making controversial remarks about homosexuals and African Americans.

Robertson was suspended from the show soon after his comments, but he was later reinstated after family members refused to continue filming, increasing fan support and a statement from Robertson in which he said he would "never incite or encourage hate."

Mossberg said the Duck Commander guns will come in a "waterfowl pattern" camouflage design, though not all of them will be intended for duck hunting. The weapons will carry the company's logo of a duck in flight.

The pistol and one of the rifles have military-style designs with magazines holding up to as least 25 rounds. The rifle resembles an assault rifle but with a relatively low .22 caliber.

The firearms will all be packaged with an American flag bandana "like the one worn by Willie," a character on the show, said a statement in Mossberg's website.
