Police sources told the Greek Reporter that the residential guard witnessed four individuals with AK-47 rifles spray bullets at the front gate of Ambassador Wolfgang Dold's residence. The Anti-terrorist squad is leading the investigation, and has so far uncovered bullets lodged in the steel gate, dozens of spent shell casings outside the residence, and four rounds embedded in the courtyard door. Investigators are examining CCTV footage and have taken six individuals in for questioning.
There is no further information on who might be responsible for the attack.
