Kate Stanton Michael Douglas has made no secret of his intentions to reunite with his estranged wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, after the couple announced their "temporary" separation last August.

On Sunday, the two were photographed together for the first time since the announcement, walking around New York City with their son, Dylan, 13, and daughter Carys, 10. Both Douglas, 69, and Zeta-Jones, 44, wore their wedding bands.

Douglas has repeatedly told the media that he hopes to repair the problems in his 13-year marriage.

"We're working things out," he said in September.

Sources told the Mirror last month that Douglas walked from his new apartment to his former home ever morning to make breakfast for his wife and kids.

“Michael would give his right arm for a reconciliation but Catherine’s warned she is not ready to commit and she’s still not ruled out divorce," a source said.
