Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt pride themselves on their jet-setting family life, so it's no surprise that the Jolie-Pitt clan spent the Christmas holidays in Queensland, Australia, where Jolie is directing Unbroken.

The day after Christmas, known to Aussies as Boxing Day, the Hollywood power couple took their world-traveling brood to Currumbin Wildlife Park, where they were treated to a VIP tour of a part of the park normally closed to visitors.

Pitt, who celebrated his 50th birthday on Dec. 18, was reportedly happy to spend the holidays down under.

"They're used to celebrating wherever they're working," a source told Us Weekly.

Australian media also spotted the actors and their six children at the beach on the Gold Coast on Monday, where they took a boat trip down the Coomera River and did some last minute holiday shopping at Target.

"Team at our Target Robina store are thrilled that Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their children shopped at Target today," tweeted Stuart Machin, the CEO of Target Australia.

Unbroken, based on Laura Hillenbrand's biography of World War II hero Louis Zamperini, hits theaters next Christmas.
