According to TMZ, the 27-year-old starlet is looking into recording her third album. The Mean Girls actress was reportedly in a New York recording studio over the weekend where she experimented with several different tracks.
While Lohan's previous records, Speak (2004) and A Little More Personal (Raw) (2005), mainly featured pop-rock and dance-pop styles, sources claim Lohan would like her next album to feature more electronic dance music.
The "Rumors" singer has reportedly gotten support from fellow singers Lady Gaga and Max from The Wanted and has not yet signed with any label.
News of Lohan's desire to get back into the music business comes weeks after it was reported that her younger sister Aliana Lohan also wants to be a singer.
