Dec. 14 (UPI) -- The iPhone 5s' sales numbers are looking good, having just passed 10 percent usage rate among iPhone customers, mobile analytics firm Mixpanel reports.

The boost in sales means the 5s is selling at between two and three times the rate of the previous iPhone 5. The 5s is growing at a rate of about 0.75 and 1 percent per week.

And it's not just the 5s that's getting in on the good sales action. The iPhone 5c -- the less expensive, color-case version of the 5s -- has a growth of about 0.25 percent and 0.5 percent per week, the same as the older iPhone 5.

The 5c is possibly “doing a reasonable job of taking over the mid-end part of the smartphone market," Mixpanel CEO Suhail Doshi said.
