Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Mena Suvari's Christmas card has all the staples of a hilariously awkward family photo -- including terrible sweaters, matching outfits and animals.

The American Pie actress, who poses with boyfriend Sal Sanchez, posted the photo to Instagram on Monday, along with the caption "#HAPPYHOLIDAYS Love, @salsancheztat2s @mena13suvari and Ms. Blanca."

Suvari's purposefully tasteless photo shoot comes on the heels of Ellen DeGeneres' "Bound 2" Christmas card, inspired by Kanye West's racy motorcycle ride with Kim Kardashian.
